iOS 7.1 comes out of Beta. Now available for public.

Apple's users update to the latest iOS quite soon after getting released which is all the more reason why a major update to iOS 7 is big news in the tech world (and, quite frankly, a relief). Apple's iOS 7 was plagued with quite a number of bugs but by the time they had released iOS 7.0.6, some of them were ironed out. But, still, some major bugs like random reboots were irksome at best. Apart from ironing them out, Apple has also introduced some UI changes.

Apple started seeding iOS 7.1 to the public today after a long wait since the betas started coming out. They have incorporated some new UI elements and changes into the update while curing some serious issues.

As it can be seen, in the change-log, Apple has written UI refinements. Lets have a look at what they mean by that.

Phone App

Apple has replaced the boxy rectangles with circles as buttons across the whole phone app.

Parallax Motion Feature of Wallpapers

iOS 7 has the feature of parallax motion in the wallpapers which gives a unique look but some people have a feeling of motion sickness due to this. For those people, Apple has given the option to turn off Motion Sickness.

Calender

Calender app has received the much obvious list feature in which you can toggle the list of appointments or reminders for a day or for the highlighted days (when in month view). Although not at par with the best calender apps available in the app store yet, but it surely is more useful now.

Among other UI changes, instead of a blank screen in notification center, when you don't have any notification, a "No New Notification" or "No New Notification" text is present depending whether you are on "All" or "Missed" menu.

Also, there are some new options in accessibility menu in Settings app of iOS 7.1. If you don't like a design change, chances are there is an option in the accessibility menu to help you out.

Apart from the UI refinements, performance has also got an apparent boost across all iOS 7 supporting devices specially iPhone 4. Apart from that, the evasi0n 7 Jailbreak tool is now ineffective leaving all the jail-breakers without any option if they want to or already have updated to iOS 7.1.

You can download the IPSW files for your respective devices from here.
