WhatsApp for Windows Phone 8 gets fixed

WhatsApp is the most popular messaging application in the world and when it suffers a flaw, everyone notices. Its Windows Phone 8 version suffered from a broadcast message reception and a security flaw due to which it was also briefly removed from the Windows Phone app store. But now it is back, with a fix.

The version for the messaging client has been bumped to 2.11.356.0 for Windows Phone 8 and it doesn't come up with any additional features apart from the two fixes. Many believe that the next version is going to come with the ability to share music but only time will tell what WhatsApp Inc. has in store for its Windows Phone based users.
