Windows Phone 8.1 notification center image leaked

Windows Phone users have been craving for Notification Center in the OS forever now and the pain became more aggravated after even Apple users got it through iOS 5. Since then the rumor mill is abuzz that Microsoft is preparing for it but it hasn't been confirmed...yet.

Sometime back it was tipped that Microsoft is indeed planning to bring the changes about in the OS but there hasn't been any information, whatsoever, confirming the same. But now an image of the Notifications tile representing Windows Phone's notification center have leaked and started making rounds on the internet.

The tiling on the homescreen of Windows Phone UI was originally supposed to act as a notification center but it is very easy to miss out on notifications when you virtually unlimited number of tiles to look after. The update to feature this is supposed to be called Windows Phone 8.1 instead of GDR3, which was tipped to feature it originally.

While Windows Phone 8.1 is still farther into the future, GDR3 will be released in the meantime and as such leaks are pre-assumed to be taken with a pinch of salt, only Microsoft knows what's coming up next for Windows Phone users.
