Sony Honami, code name for the device about to be its latest and greatest, has been making the rounds on Internet for some time and has been seen in live shots before as well. But this time it is seen appreciating the spirit of competition by sitting besides its iOS competitor, iPhone 5.
This time its beautiful screen, a 5" 1080p glory, is shown in a glowing stardom along with good quality pictures of all its sides. Lets not say a word for now and enjoy the view before we do some more talking.
Lets now talk about what runs at the heart of this beautiful beast. It is rumored to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 process along with 2 gigs of RAM and Adreno 330 GPU. But the key selling point of Honami, which is supposed to be named as Z1 in the market, isn't even the powerful hardware. Sony has come up with a 20.7 MP camera in this thing with Sony G-lens (which is generally found in Sony's point-and-shoot variety of digital cameras) and BIONZ image processor. Also, like Sony Xperia Z, it will come with IP57 certification, i.e. being dust-proof and water-resilient.
Its all just a rumor until makes Honami (Sony Xperia Z1) an official thing but, taking the market into consideration, these supposed facts are going to very (if not exactly) near to the real thing. Its just a wait and watch game for now until Sony announces it on September 4.
