Sony recently launched Sony Xperia Z at CES 2013 and it has become one of the most awaited and loved devices of the year already. But Sone's Xperia Z had a lot of leaks before it finally hit the stage and such may become the case with Sony's upcoming flagship, Sony C680X. The device secretly made its way to html5test.com benchmarks and has been in news since then.
As it can be seen, the device is supposed to run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box and sport 1080p full HD screen just like Sony Xperia Z. It is a rather interesting thing to note that Sony Xperia Z and Sony Xperia ZL were named C660X and C650X respectively and all the difference they had was external(IP57 certification and different dimensions). So, taking this in mind, C680X shouldn't have that much of a difference from what Sony Xperia Z already offers.
Whatever new thing Sony is about to throw on the smartphone world, we might find out about it at this year's MWC but as this is the first time we are hearing of the device, there is a good chance that MWC won't be graced with this Sony wonder. As always, we'll have to wait and watch.
