WhatsApp arrives on Windows Phone 8

WhatsApp Logo

The cross platform smartphone messenger WhatsApp needs no introduction, obviously. It is one of those groundbreaking apps that no one knows for how long has been topping the charts on every app store, be it Google Play or Apple app store. But its absence from Windows Phone 8 scene was some what of a misdemeanor. Things have just changed and WhatsApp has been launched for Microsoft's baby, Windows Phone 8.

In its functionalities, the app in itself is similar to what we get on other platforms except that it comes with Windows Phone 8 looks.

It is good to see that Windows Phone 8 users can now use this amazing cross platform messenger and it came much sooner for the platform then it came for Windows Phone 7.5. The app is exactly similar to its younger sibling's offering which was recently bumped up to v 2.8.10.

The app costs nothing for the first year of subscription and 0.99$ from there off. To download the app, you can either click here or scan this QR code tag using Bing Search.
