It wasn't much time before that we learned about Windows Phone 7.8 being released in Q1 of 2013 and here now we have a piece of news that there has been a Nokia Document leak containing some information about Windows Phone 7.8's new features.

As we all know, Microsoft promised a Windows Phone 8-like lock screen with customisable tiles but there is more according the leaked Nokia document which apparently is the in-house training document.

The lock screen is supposed to be customisable and user can choose an app to update the lock screen periodically. It sounds familliar to Windows Phone 8's Live Apps Service.

The new OS will also have a MP3 editor which lets you make ringtones out of songs and also there will be 20 system colors in total now. Although Internet Explorer's security will be updates, but Windows Phone 7.8 users won't be getting a taste of speedy IE10.

Also, OEMs(atleast Nokia) will be adding there own touch to the OS. For example, Nokia will be adding Data Transfer Over Bluetooth facility for non-DRM protected media.

We all also know that sometime back Windows Phone Italy let slip some features of Windows Phone 7.8 while replying to a question from a fan.

The list included 'Rooms'(which Microsoft itself informed about) and something called 'Clubs' which has been assumed to be referring to Xbox Music, Rooms and Smart Glass services.

Here is a list that may help you summarise the differences between Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 7.8.

Well, we all know rumors are to be taken with a pinch of salt always, and such rumors should be taken with a big one but who knows it maybe the lucky one that comes out to be true :)
